AKI SATO / Dancer, Choreographer and Director.
Born in Japan. Since the age of three, she has studied a wide variety of dance forms, including moderm, classical and jazz.
She graduated with major from Toho Gakuen University in Tokyo.
In 1985, she started her own dance company, AKISTUDIO.
In 1987, she directed and choreographed "Dance Symphony STOP and GO" at The Aoyama Enkei Gekijo Theater (one of the national theater in JAPAN ) in Tokyo.
AKI SATO calls the works a "Dance Symphony" because it is a variety of dance forms to express dramatic content.
Since then, she has continued to create new dances, "STOP and GO Part 2", "Part 3", 'STOP and GO Kid's", "A Glass of Water", "A Table for Four", "MAI DANCE Aki Sato Solo Performance", Other then these, she has directed and choreographed many Musicals and motionpictures in JAPAN.
AKI SATO taught at Asahi Culture Center, Seibu Community college, Akiko Yanagi Jazz Dance City, Aki Studio Aoyama School, Aki Studio Shinjuku School, Kuramoto Sou Furano Natural School, Aoi Yoji Musical Factory School, City of Yokohama Cultural Promotion Drama Workshop, and other venues.
